Since Sound Fix has opened I’ve never experienced customers react to a song the way they have to “Broken Monitors,” the phenomenal opening track from B. Fleischmann’s Humbucking Coil. Within seconds, people would ask what was playing, within minutes, they were buying the record. A slowly evolving seven-minute instrumental track centering around a simple but mesmerizing guitar riff, “Broken Monitors” sets the tone for this gorgeous record from the German electronic artist Bernard Fleischmann. Here he brings more warmth (and singing!) to this music, a loving and tribute to the guitar.
