Dubstep is smokin’ hot right now, and King Midas Sound’s Waiting for You, the debut album from London’s Roger Robinson and Kevin Martin, is the best full-length the genre produced in 2009. The project mixes Robinson’s lilting falsetto with Martin’s ferocious beats and atmospherics, producing an instant dubstep classic. You might remember Martin from his brilliant Bug project from last year. His heavy dancehall rhythms have dropped here for more hazy and abstract beats.
